2020 Baseball/Softball/Tball Season Update

Friends of Tri-C Athletics,

Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel baseball & softball for the summer. Given the implied timetable in the governor's plan of re-opening Illinois, we believe that conducting a season -- even part of one -- is not feasible. We are saddened not to have sports this summer.

Some of you have asked about refunds. We are currently determining the best way to quickly get refunds back to families. We will soon provide an update on the details of this process. **Refunds will likely be going back to the original payment method(credit/debit card), so if you have closed this card, please let us know right away!**

While the season is cancelled, we still face expenses. Maintenance ( mowing etc. ) of James Street Park and insurance coverage remain ongoing costs of our continued commitment to the youth of Carterville. We hope you might consider your registration fee as a donation. Every little bit helps. We understand the circumstances of families and realize some face tough times financially. Not everyone can donate. We only ask for your consideration. Please know that whatever decision is made by your family will remain private.
