Board Applications are voted on in September of each calendar year with 3 year term beginning in October of the same year.  If a vacancy occurs mid-term or mid-year, vacancies may be filled at that time. 
Board applications are accepted at any time in the calendar year and will be filed until September of that year or if a vacancy is needed to be filled sooner. 
Board members are responsible for:
-Attending monthly meetings and any other meetings as deemed necessary. 
-Coordinating a subcommittee on the board that may include: sport seasons, fundraising/sponsorship, technology/registration, umpires, or  concessions.  Most subcommittees have two coordinators. 
-Performing board duty approximately 15 times a year. Board duty consists of overseeing the park or gymnasium during the athletic events and is typically done in 4 hour blocks of time. 
-Participating in park clean up days twice per year

This is a basic representation of duties. Other duties may be assigned throughout the year.
